I tried goof off, goo gone and steam... THEN, my son handed me a can of wd 40 and 2 plastic putty spatulas and WOW SO EASY! Spray the wd as you pry off the frame and it dissolves the tape completely! I left it for about 10 minutes and then came back and easily removed the frame.
I was able to remove whole sections without breaking! WD 40 is the way to remove!
Now I am ready for my new Mirror Mate frame!
