Kate,

I have chrome fixtures in my master bathroom and cherry cabinets. Do you think I should pick a silver or wood frame for our mirror?

Thanks,
Martha

Hi Martha,

Thanks for your question. It really depends on the look you want to create. If you want a warm, traditional feel then you may want to match the cherry cabinets and use a frame such as the Chelsea Cherry Red, the Cherokee Cherry Chocolate or Permaquid Dark Cherry. This will give the space a custom look as if the cabinets and mirror were designed together. If you are looking to give the space a more contemporary feel you could opt for the Broadway Brushed Chrome or choose a silver that will coordinate with the chrome faucets such as the Pacifica or Portage frames. I think it is fine to mix metals as long as they are in the same color family. I recommend that you take advantage of the current sample sale and order 3 samples for just 99 cents. This way you can make sure to see the frame in your space before you commit. Make sure to keep me posted on your makeover. I look forward to seeing the results!
