I'd like information on selling MirrorMate frames. Who should I contact?

All you have to do to register to sell MirrorMate frames and get more information is to visit MirrorMate.com and click on the link in the upper left of the homepage that says "Wholesale Login." From there, click "sign up" in the new wholesaler box area. Fill out the form and it will send it to Becky@MirrorMate.com who will authorize you, send you a wholesaler login and password (for use on MirrorMate.com) and mail you the necessary literature and pricing sheet.

Hello! I am a new wholesaler. What is the typical markup on the frames? 40-50%? Less? Do you charge an install fee or is this included in the purchase price? I'm completely green here; any newcomer advice is greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Jenny

Hi Jenny,

While it is up to you and your business as to what you charge, most wholesalers who are successful selling our frames do install and charge for it. Since there is always the option for a customer to order themselves, what they are really paying you for is your expertise in measuring and install. We find the most successful wholesalers are those who are already in and out of customer's homes multiple times a week, and sell it as an add on product to whatever renovation, remodel they are doing.

The price you pay as a beginning wholesaler is about 60% of what a retail customer would pay online. This can go up as you sell more frames. I hope this helps you.

Of course, folks can do what they wish. However, in the instance of a "major" bathroom remodel (for example), I would certainly be amenable to having a contractor order the mirror and accessories under the idea that the contractor would complete the installation. That being said, many contractors are open to the idea of the customer ordering the materials, provided there is a pre-arranged understanding regarding the installation, etc.

Cheers!
