I was wondering if I can put the MirrorMate frame directly over the current beveled mirror frame that is on my mirror? I'm afraid/don't know how to remove that the mirror will break. Any advice?

How wide if your bevel? If the bevel is larger than 1" our frames cannot cover the bevel and the bevel would have to be taken down before using our product. For suggestions on how to remove a bevel, please consult a local glass company. If your bevel is less than 1" wide our frames will work great with your mirror.
